As a Paralegal you would be researching laws, investigating facts, and preparing documents to assist the VP, and Legal Affairs.
Researches and analyzes law sources such as statutes, state and federal regulations, and administrative filing requirements. Ability to cover ground quickly and distill the legal and financial risks associated with interpreting statutes and regulations, and making executive recommendations without the luxury of protracted study and analysis. Brokers internal agreement between operations, product development, marketing, and business development to legally define new products and create contract templates of all kinds, including business to business contracts, consumer terms and conditions, reseller agreements, affiliation agreements, etc. Works with business development and customers to modify and amend above contract templates for specific customer relationships that nevertheless protect the legal and financial interests of the company. Prepares corporate legal documents such as articles of incorporation, shareholder agreements, and stock certificates , Performs other clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, providing information to callers, composing and typing routine correspondence, and reading and routing incoming mail. Files correspondence and legal documents in office filing system.
