ICE's "The Powers at Sea" Delivers Maximum Successes

PHOENIX (February 1, 2006) – From January 22nd through January 29th, International Cruise & Excursions, Inc. (ICE) hosted a unique gathering of top-level timeshare and cruise executives from all over the world during an exclusive conference onboard Windstar® Cruises' Wind Surf. The 154-cabin sailing vessel, the largest of Windstar's fleet, was chartered especially for the sold out event which was attended by senior level executives from major cruise lines worldwide and top resort developers from the United States, Mexico, Europe and Australia, as well as representatives from major leisure travel associations worldwide including the United States' American Resort Development Association (ARDA), Mexico's Fondo Nacional de Fomento al Turismo (FONATUR), the Australian Timeshare and Holiday Ownership Council (ATHOC) and the Organization for Timeshare in Europe (OTE).

The private charter created the perfect intimate environment for business networking; the "at sea" days provided a great opportunity for business programming that included relevant and topical sessions pertaining to the most pressing issues affecting the timeshare and leisure industries, as well as leadership development, motivational topics and break-out sessions.

Conference programming topics included: Marketing on the Net, Protecting Consumer Data, Mixed Use Developments and Non-Equity Clubs, as well as panel discussions on both the state of the cruise industry and an international perspective on the state of the timeshare industry. In addition, the conference provided the perfect forum for a presentation on the future of ICE and a sneak peak at some of the company's newest product offerings.

Keynote speaker for the conference, Jim Madrid, founder and owner of Entelechy Training & Development, presented attendees with advice on developing strategies to enable their companies to achieve unprecedented productivity. Also presenting onboard was Levitin Group which conducted its popular SHOWTIME workshop, teaching effective sales and leadership methods to timeshare management staff in attendance.

The Wind Surf departed from Bridgetown, Barbados, on the evening of January 22nd, and spent the next seven days visiting the Caribbean ports of Charlestown, Nevis; Marigot, St. Martin; Basse Terre, Guadeloupe; Iles des Saintes, Guadeloupe; and Pigeon Island, St. Lucia. After enjoying tropical ports during the day, attendees participated in nightly activities onboard the ship that included sponsor hosted cocktail receptions and entertainment, as well as both silent and live auctions to benefit Christel House, an international nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting orphaned and abandoned children. The silent auction was for 12 pieces of artwork designed by the children of Christel House, while the live auction included items ranging from cases of wine to resort and cruise vacations. The auctions raised a combined total of more than $100,000 for Christel House.

Corporate sponsors for "The Powers at Sea" included Arizona Commercial Printing, Carnival Cruise Lines, Celebrity Cruises, Chicago Title Timeshare, Colombian Emeralds International, Concord Servicing Corporation, CSA Travel Protection, Holland America Line, Phoenix Media Group, Radisson Seven Seas Cruises® and Royal Caribbean International.
