ICE's "Powers at Sea" Features Speakers, Sun and Information SharingPHOENIX (January 2006) – From January 22 to January 29, the Windstar Wind Surf was the site of a unique gathering of timeshare and cruise executives from all over the world as International Cruise and Excursions, Inc. (ICE) and Levitin Group hosted "The Powers at Sea – Leadership and Business Development Summit." The week-long conference took place during a cruise through some of the Caribbean's most beautiful islands. The Wind Surf departed from Bridgetown, Barbados, on the evening of January 22, and spent the next seven days visiting the tropical ports of Charlestown, Nevis; Marigot, St.Martin; Basse Terre, Guadeloupe; Iles des Saintes, Guadeloupe; and Pigeon Island, St. Lucia, before returning to Bridgetown. Port visits alternated with days at sea during which ICE and Levitin conducted independent program for their respective attendees. Levitin conducted their popular "SHOWTIME" workshop, teaching effective sales and leadership methods. "Powers at Sea" was ICE's second annual conference at sea. The company invited their "partners" – developers and high-level executives in the timeshare industry, as well as corporate associates – to take part in the cruise where they shared "best practices" for business success. The timeshare industry members were joined by senior level representatives from most of ICE's cruise line partners. The cruise, a private charter, provided a perfect intimate business networking environment and gave those attending the chance to participate in programming that included relevant and topical sessions pertaining to the most pressing issues affecting the timeshare and leisure industries, as well as leadership development, motivational topics and break-out sessions. ICE's keynote speaker for the conference was Jim Madrid, founder and owner of Entelechy Training & Development. A veteran of the timeshare industry, Madrid is well-known as a dynamic and uniquely gifted speaker. Madrid presented attendees with advice on developing strategies that will enable their companies to achieve unprecedented productivity. Far from being all work and no play, the conference also featured special onboard activities such as cocktail receptions, themed dinners and professional entertainment. ###
