ICE - Powered by Innovation
The Founders of ICE Enterprise:

Formed from a simple truth and a passion for performance, ICE has grown into one of the most trusted and successful leisure industry partners worldwide. That passion is a part of our culture and what drives our leadership.

In late 1995, John and Marcia Rowley happened upon a simple truth. The Leisure Vacation marketplace and millions of travelers worldwide were missing an important option when building their vacation dreams; high quality cruise vacations. So together they embarked on their own dream and formed what is today the worldwide industry leader for integrated cruise and leisure experiences; International Cruise & Excursions, Inc. Marcia Rowley
Co-Founder, Owner & Executive Vice President

In 1997, Marcia Rowley and her husband John co-founded International Cruise & Excursions, Inc. (ICE), which introduced cruising into the world of vacation ownership. Marcia was responsible for forging the innovative cruise exchange agreement with Carnival Cruise Lines, the largest cruise line in the world, that made the ICE business concept a working reality. It was entirely appropriate, therefore, that she also wrote the new company's first cruise booking.

As owner and executive vice president of ICE, Marcia plays an integral role in ICE’s worldwide operations.

ICE, a global cruise and vacation distribution channel, has been profiled in trade publications internationally for its innovation and success and has received dozens of industry awards, including three prestigious Circle of Excellence Awards from the American Resort Development Association (ARDA). The company has been honored for sales and technology accomplishments by almost every major cruise line and has received successive Arizona Corporate Excellence (ACE) Awards.

In 2006, ICE debuted in the number one position on The Business Journal's list of top women-owned businesses, as well as its list of top travel agencies.

Marcia directs ICE's Hearts & Hands volunteerism initiative, which promotes and supports employee involvement in charitable causes. Teams of ICE employees have worked for the benefit of Habitat for Humanity, the Salvation Army, St. Vincent DePaul, Make-A-Wish and St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance, among other organizations. Hearts & Hands directly supports Phoenix Animal Care Coalition (PACC) 911, an alliance of animal welfare organizations, and A New Leaf, which works with families in crisis. The program was inducted into the ARDA Circle of Excellence in 2007.

On an international level, Marcia has been dedicated to supporting Christel House International, which focuses on helping children around the world break the cycle of poverty and become self-sufficient members of society, since the organization began. ICE is a Christel House Alliance Partner. In 2006, Christel DeHaan, founder and president of Christel House, recognized Marcia personally for her passionate support.

Marcia's love of travel and dedication to excellence have been at the foundation of ICE's phenomenal growth and success during its first decade of innovation.
